Don’t try to “splice” 24 vdc onto your PIC cable. After following these steps, the driver should appear in the list of drivers configured with a status of Running. I can’t communicate with it at all, when I know for a fact it’s programmed for DH, baud, node I have applied and 1747 pic aic it many times on about 8 machines without any issue.
It’s obviously possible the SLC is just bad it is faulted, probably due to an 1747 pic aic module missingbut I think it’s unlikely the comms are fried. I figured rather than having instructions for 1747 pic aic, I’d just make something to do it for them.
What Ron was talking about was the DH communications power.
