I don’t even get my answer. That way Microsoft can work and see if it is something in Windows that is preventing it from installing and get it corrected in later builds. So I won’t be converting over to any new operating system anytime soon. It does seem to hang at the “Completing setup” stage, but I just waited long enough and it did finish. Googling is quicker than waiting for an answer The proposed solution does not work in my case.

The installation cannot proceed. Well Adaptec and Microsoft, my company scanners run on scsi, and I don’t have the money to go out and purchase new high end scanners that run off adapttec usb just because you don’t want to write drivers for your software.
